Day 1- Arrival inManagua. Met upon arrival by the local representative and transferred to the HOTEL CAMINO REAL near the airport. Overnight. Day 2- Pick up for amorningCitytour ofManaguaincluding the Huembres market. Continue to theMasayaVolcanoNational Parkto look into the volcano and visit theVolcanicMuseum,continue to visit the town ofMasayaincluding the market. Transfer toGranadaand drop off at the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight HOTEL ALHAMBRA. Day 3- Pick up for a City tour of colonialGranada, the oldest city inCentral Americafounded in 1524. Enjoy the colonial architecture and history. In the afternoon, board canoes for a ride onLake Nicaraguato visit thehot springs. The water is heated by the Mombacho Volcano. Enjoy the nature and take a swim if you’d like. Return toGranadaand transfer back toManagua. Overnight HOTEL LAS CAMINO REAL. Day 4- Early pick up and transfer to Matagalpa in the cloud forest. On the way, stop in the town ofDariowhere the famous author Ruben Dario was born. Visit the city ofMatagalpaand drop off at the HOTEL SELVA NEGRA, a lodge outside of the city in the mountains. Originally a coffee farm, the lodge is surrounded by wildlife and Eco-trails. Visit the old coffee mill, the orchards and the farm. Overnight in a comfortable bungalow in the woods. Day 5- Pick up and transfer to Esteli famous for the cigar manufacturing. Visit the cigar shops and then continue to the colonial town ofLeon. Stop and take a City tour ofLeonincluding the massive Cathedral. Return toManaguain the evening. Overnight HOTEL LAS MERCEDES. Day 6- Early transfer to the airport for departure Enjoy an extended stay, or continue to your next adventure / cultural / educational destination with MILA Tours [Guatemala? Ecuador/Galapagos?
