Day 1– Arrive in Santiago de CHILE where a MILA representative will meet you for a private transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2– Santiago. The first conquistador arrived here in 1541. The Capital has a great natural wall on the East: the magnificent Andes. The city has broad avenues, a wonderful residential palace, La Moneda. Santiago is a traditional city with University of Chile and the Church of San Francisco. Visit to the romantic Cerrode Santa Lucia Gardens.

Days 3, 4 and 5– to Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine. Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for departure to Punta Arenas, the most southern city in Chile. Afternoon city tour of Salesiano Museum. Evenings star gazing from the tip of South America.

Continue to Puerto Natales. Visit the Parque Ñandu, a breeding center for ñandus (an ostrich-like bird). Stop for lunch at a typical Hosteria. Visit the Milodon Caves in the afternoon. Transfer on to the Hosteria Las Torres or similar located within the Torres Paine National Park. Dinner at the Hosteria.

Full day in the Torres del Paine National Park seeing the glaciers, lakes, and mountains.Take an excursion to Salto Grande waterfall and Grey Lake.. Lunch included at the Hosteria Grey overlooking the lake. Return to the Hosteria for dinner.

Day 6 and 7- to Lake Region.You can either go to Puerto Montt a typical fishing community and do the crossing of the lakes towards Bariloche in Argentina or do a one-day tour to the border with Argentina and return to Puerto Montt. This is also a point to board cruisers that sail along the fjords to see the glaciers.

Another option is to go to Temucoin central Chile to the area of Pucon on the shores of Villarica Lake overlooking the Villarica Volcano.

Enjoy an extended stay, or continue to your next adventure / cultural / educational destination with MILA Tours [Peru? Ecuador/Galapagos? Argentina?] or private transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
