However, the mountain range is interrupted several times by impressive granite massifs of extraordinary forms which soar upwards to high altitudes. These forms cause the strong feeling as it really is- that the great erosion forces that model the landscape are still at work. Day 1- Buenos Aires-Meet at Ezeiza International Airport and transfer to the city. Hotel Accommodations. Day 2- Buenos Aires-Departure on a half-day city tour (Congress Palace, Government House and Plaza de Mayo Square, the old town hall and the Cathedral). Return to hotel. Day 3- El Calafate- Fly from Buenos Aires to El Calafate. Day 4- El Calafate- Regular tour to visit Perito Moreno Glacier.
