recommend that you purchase travel insurance. We promote
Travel Safe Insurance. You can enroll online for travel
protection for Medical Expenses, Baggage Delays/Loss
and Trip Delay/Cancellation (including new “Cancel
for Any Reason” coverage). To review and enroll
online, go to http://www.travelsafe.com. Click on
one of the 3 plans that appeal to you for either plan
information, a quote or to purchase. When you’re
ready to purchase with your credit card, click Buy
Now and then Consumer Purchase Here to reach the purchase
form. For the agency name, use MILA Tours. For the

If
you decline the recommended travel insurance, we will
need your signature declining the travel insurance
on the insurance waiver form provided by the insurance
company. Final Travel Documents (tickets, vouchers,
etc.) will not be sent to your prior to receipt of
the signed insurance waiver.

CANCELLATIONS
/ REFUNDS
1. ALL cancellations are to be made in WRITING and
RECEIVED within the time specified. Cancellations
received beyond departure date will not be considered.

2. Land Revisions / Cancellation: For voluntary changes
to the land portion after the initial deposit is received,
there will be a revision fee of $50.00 per change,
per person, per country. No voluntary changes are
allowed 10 business days or less prior to departure.
If you cancel your reservation, the following penalty
fees apply:

days prior to departure 100%
15-59 days prior to departure 50%
60 days or more $250.00
3. Additional cancellation fees are subject to any
assessment made by airlines, hotels, and tour operators,
pertaining to their rules, regulations, special events
or festivities, and out-of pocket expenses (fax, e-mail,
telephone calls, etc). Example destinations: Galapagos
Islands, Machu Picchu, Patagonian cruises, Brazil’s
Carnival season, or Peru’s Inti Raymi festival.
4. Airline ticket penalties are determined by the
specific carrier depending on the type of fare used
when the tickets were purchased.
5. Once the tour is in process, no refunds will be
considered.
6. Whenever possible, exceptions will be considered
in view of unusual and documented circumstances. Any
refund granted will be only for the sum actually recovered
for the unused portion (tours/hotels). Claims for
refund must be received in writing within 30 days
of termination of tour.
7. For programs where applicable, the registration/tuition
fee is NON-refundable.
